Ckd,uterine cysts and fibroids

So after having an ultrasound of my pelvis and kidneys, they found cysts and a fibroid on the left side ovary where my bladder is. I'm wondering if this is the reason I'm feeling the urge to go to the loo three fold and doubled up in pain and I'm also wondering now if my kidneys have been affected because of this issue. They did say my kidneys were draining and that's all but I have read that problems like this can cause permanent damage to the kidneys. For now they are putting my kidneys on the back burner and sending me to a gynaecologist for further testing. I'm also being sent for a colonoscopy as well as it's affecting my bowels as well. Cannot wait to get to the bottom of this but also sticking to my kidney diet because it's healthy

My periods got really irregular and I would have a watery blood stained discharge in between what I thought was my period which could last a few weeks and without pain but it wasn't offensive smelling or anything

When you say in your left kidney do you mean just under your rib?

Where is flank pain located? Flank pain occurs in the kidney region in the middle to lower back, and typically it is felt in an area that stretches from the lower ribs in the mid back below the shoulder blade around to the front of the abdomen.

Maybe if there's no other reason for your kidney problems. It can gravitate to your internal organs and cause chaos. You just have to keep on at them until you get answers, I know I am and in the meantime stick to a healthy diet with loads of fruit and veg that are good for inflammation and only have the recommended intake of protein for your weight. It's all you can do. Squeeze half lemon in warm water with half teaspoon tumeric every morning. It's yucky and I drink it while holding my nose lol but it's supposed to be great for inflammation

I had large fibroids for years, and it got to the point where I would have to go to the restroom about 15 times a day as a big fibroid was pressing up against my bladder. I've been wondering, if this is what caused my kidney problems.

My non African American egfr is 78 and my African American is 91 as I'm African American.
