What is protein equivalent? I'm not familiar with it. I guess that if it is equivalent to protein in all respects, it would be best not to add it to your diet. It sounds as if you are taking very good care of yourself. Keep up the good work.

I have remained in stage 3a for a year since diagnosis. When diagnosed, I consulted a renal nutritionist who discussed protein in terms of portion sizes. She emphasized the usefulness of eggs at different meals. I just judge my protein intake by portion size, but I'm sure your method is more precise.

Hey thanks for your response values are calculated on weight and height and age and of course with respect to your gfr so as I m 80 kilos and 168 cms tall I can consume 0.8 gr per kilo weight. so 64 grams but people keep telling me ad stage 3b I should be only eating 40 grams or less but I need to run my body and exercise is very important to me because of my Interstitial Pneumonia and Pulmonary fibrosis so very confused. I burn at least 1000 cal in the Gym so you can see I need the protein
