Is there someone in the public eye with dyslexia who inspires you? If so, we want to hear about them!

As part of the Dyslexia Action Awards Dinner, the It’s Me! Award aims raise awareness of dyslexia. We want you to tell us which dyslexic celebrity or well known figure in the public eye, such as an athlete, politician and artist, most inspires you by nominating them for the It’s me! award. The dyslexic celebrity with the most nominations at the time of closing on the 26th of August will be invited to receive their award at the Dyslexia Action Awards Dinner on the 29th of November 2012.

You can put forward your nomination and vote for those already nominated, using the nomination form on our website, or via our Facebook app.

Website: dyslexiaaction.org.uk/pages...

Facebook: facebook.com/DyslexiaAction...

Last year’s winner was girl group The Saturdays band member, Mollie King who has not let having dyslexia hold her back.

The rules: The individual nominated must have dyslexia and be a well known figure in the public eye. There is no limit to the number of times you can nominate your chosen dyslexic celebrity or to the number of individuals you can nominate. Previous winners are not precluded from winning again.

We will be tweeting about who has been nominated using the hashtag #itsmeaward so be sure to keep up with the nominations there.

Happy Nominating!
