I am in Seniors and i think I’m dyslexic. I’ve done loads of research and everything points towards dyslexia. I’m scared to tell tell my mum because we have just had a fight and my dad is to busy working. I don’t know if I should tell my school because I’m frightened and I’ve only told 4 friends. Please help I’m stuck and just don’t know what to do.

Hi, why don't you try Toe by Toe? You don't say exactly why you think you think you are 'dyslexic'. Dyslexia is only another label after all. What you need to know is what can be done to overcome the problem. Toe by Toe is written to be used by non-qualified people so there is no reason why your Mum cannot take you through the scheme yourself and by doing so help to mend your relationship. You will probably find the web site useful at toe-by-toe.co.uk Good luck, Frank at TBT

could you maybe talk to a teacher you trust and they can help you talk to your parents. It’s important you get the right help in place, there are online screening tools that can show if someone may have dyslexia you could also do one of those and have a conversation about it with a teacher or your parents.

I hope you find the answers and the support you need
