my son is starting his GCSEs and he said the problem is the answer he has in his head is not the same as what he put down on paper, the school said he is not aloud a scribe, I have been telling them since he started school this was the problem, they have given him a laptop but he said it still doesn’t help, has anyone else got any suggestions for me

With thanks LJ

what a arse fancy a teacher saying that to a student. God I do feel for children these days they have it so hard I just wish that these people who mark the exam papers how hard they have got it.

in what grounds have the school said he is not allowed one? Have they said he is allowed extra time?

Going back a few years but the most helpful practice I found for exams was doing practice papers so I could get used to style of questions.

I hope you find something that helps him
