There is nothing wrong with your ways. If you have Dyslexia your brain is just wired differently. We would not have such a variety of people contributing to the world if we didn't have Dyslexics. Reading and spelling are a new skill introduced to the brain and not natural like speaking. Your Dyslexic assessment should show you strategies to support your weaknesses using your strengths. Technology will also help level the playing field and allow you to express your ideas. Please don't loose all your ways as I suspect the world would then be a more boring place!!

Thank you for advice so maybe I had said it wrong as what I mean that to improve my skills by using different ways unless you suggest any ideas? Thank you

Hope my post still gave you a boost! Are you getting a written report? Suggestions for alternative methods should be given there. If there is a particular area you need help with post a question about it on the site as you should get suggestions then and I can also reply

That's very true. We all have great things to offer - and the rest just requires a bit of support and careful handling. I wonder if you enjoyed or hated the dyslexia tests?

in reply to Giosang

I did enjoy the test as assessor was kind and helpful so await for the correct result papers etc, just tell you it's agonyed me today as saying why did I leave fo so long but hey it's life as we all don't know until been tested etc

Well I got test by dyslexia action group based in York so the lady travelled 30miles to my home and was basic test £60 not the full £500 job and she sending to me within the week coming. So why you have the run around !

You know Dyslexia is the new black right .... ;-)

Sorry I didnt realise you didn't understand the reference. I thought you were Scoobie Matt because of the programme Scooby Doo.

The image of me, here by my name is of a Character in Scooby Doo called Velma.

The team in Scooby Doo consist of Scooby Doo the great dane, whose a coward, his friend Shaggy (a skinny surfer dude) whose also a coward, Velma, Freddie and Daphne.

Each week they solve a problem often a haunted house or hotel. It has always been rigged by the hotel Manager who wants to make money by buying the hotel cheap cos everyone is too scared to stay there and then selling the property for a big profit to developers. The team always catch him out, at which point he ALWAYS says ...."I would have done it too if it wasnt for you pesky kids"...lol.

This happens EVERY series, it's a kids cartoon...lol.

So sorry no haunted houses for you, but look up the programme online. If your Mrs (partner) looks like Daphne dont blame me if there are some strange goings on in the hotel up the road from you...lol.

X
