Welcome to the group. Please check out the free information leaflets and information about type1 Diabetes on the DRWF website. drwf.org.uk/understanding-d... and drwf.org.uk/understanding-d... I hope this helps you. 😀👍🌈

Hi, does he have a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM)? The biggest surprise I had with T1D was the realization that my son could have low sugar events once he started exercising/playing with his friends. If he wears a CGM it is alot easier to see where he is at and how fast he is moving up/down.

I’ll pass this on to his parents. Thanks

Hi, how is your grandson doing? Our grandson was 4 when he was diagnosed, he is now 13, it hasnt been easy, but nothing is, do you know about the libre pod that is available on the nhs, less finger pricks, it is fantastic, also does his food intake consist of carb counting? Hope your all well
