An Early Update for Sunday: DEXCOM

Well, it's Sunday morning and the sensor that I have been using is still working! It's amazing that I hadn't needed to change sensors, yet. I thought I would have to do a change last night because the sensor kept going from giving numbers to having no readings/sensor error alarms on and off around dinner time and at 11:30 pm-12 am/midnight. The only good thing is, I was just woken up once the entire time last night.

There was a few times this week where I had been woken up more than once during the night hours. The first two times that this type of thing happened was when there wasn't any readings. The third time was when the numbers were actually going below 80 mg/dl on both the receiver and my actual test I had done at the time before needing a small snack before my breakfast. Waking up 3 or 4 times in one night/morning caused a massive headache, but I was doing slightly better after a few hours.

Well, this is all for right now. More to come soon. Stay safe, happy and healthy! :-) Enjoy the rest of your weekend. :-)

Hello Leah, well you're very up beat about being woken so often during the night so good for you I'm sorry that you had a massive headache yesterday.

I hope that as you get used to your new G6 and its sensors as you were going out of range before so there's been glitches which once sorted should be better as they are lasting longer.

You enjoy the rest of your day now and stay safe and well. 🌈😀

Thank you! The system does have some issues, but I’m trying to get them taken care of as fast as I can. I have to change the sensor at 4:49 pm today. Will see what happens soon.😀👍🌈

Hi Activity 2004, I wear a sensor too & I also use my old machine too, bcoz if the reading for my Freestyle Libre says that its Lo then I take a reading using my old machine & then 10 mins later I will check my sugars to see what readings I will receive.

What is the low setting for the alarm to go off? For me, I have the alarm set to go off at 80 and below so I can test and have a snack, if needed.
