I have diabetes (type 2 insulin based) and rheumatoid arthritis and am on a new medication called roactemra for arthritis. since it has been working properly my numbers have been low, almost normal. problem is I´m still on cortisone too (which put my numbers high) and am afraid when I come off the cortisone my numbers will be too low. I was wondering if anyone else had this combination of meds and what experience they had with it. thank you for your help

When you come off cortisone, you may need to review your insulin injection requirements. Unless you are not now producing your own insulin, have you tried the many new diabetes medications?

I think that will be next step but I think I need to come off the cortisone first see what happens.
