Hi, and welcome. I am borderline diabetic and have to lose a stone. You mention you lost

10 lbs. Can You tell me how you lost weight, diet, cutting carbs or what?.

Firstly I cut out my sweets chocolates etc . Just occasional treats. Then sugar I cut a teaspoon full in half. I still have my weekly chicken mayo from McDonalds but my meals of everything are smaller portions. But I think Sukarno helped also !

Welcome to the world of D2.

Not a club any one of us actually wanted to be part of but hey ho.

I'm glad to hear you lost 10lbs.

I also lost 16lbs in my first year of diagnosis but for some strange reason, despite being on the same medication as you - although it's more commonly known as Metformin in these parts, the weight crept on gradually.

I was started off on 2 tablets 2 times a day but it was too strong so I was reduced to 1 tablet 2 times a day which was raised back to the original dosage when the weight crept up.

My GP said it was because I'd lost so much weight prior to the actually diagnosis that my body was sort of 'balancing out.' I hope this doesn't happen to you.

Don't take your meds for granted ok and be careful of any endo's encouraging you to trial anything else .

Going onto Trulicity - at the direction of my endo has basically ruined what remained of my relative good health and has failed to deliver the significant weight loss I required for my back operation. Unfortunately, now I've started, I can't stop without some great risk to health!

I know everyone reacts differently to things but if I could turn back the clock to where you are now. I would live a happy and healthy life, watch my sugars and be blissfully happy.

Hindsight is 20/20!

Hi and thx for your response. I take 500 Sukkarto once a day. I’m trying real hard to adjust my enjoyment of eating food at times it’s hard. I have found that smaller regular portion meals have helped me.

I take 500 Sukkarto 3 tablets a day. Started 6 weeks ago My sugars are still up and down for no reason that I can figure out except that I did not drink much water for a time and the numbers went up I am not much of a water drinker. I excercise eat small meals with an occasional treat and 1 glass of wine a week So back to drinking more water to see if that fixes it
