Change of medication

Hi I'm type 2 have been on 500g Metformin for 6 years. My nurse changed my perscription to Sukkarto SR 500g . I've been taking them for 2 months. My weight has dropped 8 pounds! I feel so much better and my readings have improved too. Has anyone else experienced this with a change of medication?

look the report before taking Metformin Sukkarto the pharmaceutical is telling gov health

body that it has got same and Identical look as metformin glucophage sr 500mg active ingredient of metformin hydrochloride others are magnesium stearate ,carmellose sodium, hypromellose & microcrystalline cellulose but sukkarto Metformin do no give any information about the ingredient in there packets & ingredients are are stearic acid, sheilac[refined bleached] ,providone k-30,silca,coliodial,anhydrous ,magnesium stearate, hypromellose,hdroxypropyl cellulose ,titanium dioxide, propyleneglycol.macrogol 600 & talc so how can sell a product without the ingredient this has passed by mhra.gov.uk.so how can you trust these gov bodies?

It states quite clearly that the active ingredient is metformin hydrochloride.

Given that you obviously have an 'information for the user' leaflet I don't understand how you:-

A. Missed this information that is amidst the first piece of information on the sheet!

B. Were able to misspell so many words, given that you were copying 'your' 'advice' about this medication.

C. You haven't understood that the difference between metformin and sukkarto is the SR. It's a slow release medication. It's a lot more expensive than the usual metformin and is a great alternative to simple metformin for people who suffer from allergic reactions to a lot of meds and/or have also got other illnesses that are chronic, therefore they are taking other medications so need a gentle alternative.
