Well, today was a big day related to the DEXCOM. Today, I had to change both the sensor(s) and throw away the old transmitter so I could use the new one. I had learned a very interesting lesson. When trying to replace the transmitter, you must let the old sensor stop on its own first! If you don't let the old sensor stop, you can't enter the new transmitter's code/id number into the receiver. Once the sensor stops/fails on its own, then you can go into the Settings and go to transmitter id and click on it. Before it stops, you will be taken back to the main Settings screen or the Trend Graph section of the receiver.
Bien, hoy era un día grande relacionado con el DEXCOM. Hoy, tuve que cambiar a ambos el sensor (sensores) y tirar el viejo transmisor por tanto podría usar el nuevo. Había aprendido una lección muy interesante. ¡Tratando de reemplazar el transmisor, debe dejar al viejo sensor pararse solo primero! Si no deja al viejo sensor pararse, no puede escribir el código/número de identificación del nuevo transmisor en el receptor. Una vez que el sensor se para/falla solo, entonces puede entrar en las Configuraciones e ir al transmisor id y hacer clic en él. Antes de que se pare, se devolverá a la pantalla de Configuraciones principal o la sección del Gráfico de Tendencia del receptor.
Before changing everything, the old sensor worked fairly well. Only had a few hiccups here and there, but nothing too much to complain about. It did loose me for a few minutes here and there, but not as bad as the other few sensors had, so I'm not too worried. It worked great for when I wasn't feeling well for the last 2 days. I'm doing a lot better today, though. I can actually eat solid food! Also, the numbers are coming back down to a somewhat normal number on both the DEXCOM and the Breeze2. The numbers never made it to 400 mg/dl, so that's great.
Antes de cambiar todo, el viejo sensor trabajó justamente bien. Sólo tenía unos hipos aquí y allí, pero nada demasiado para quejarse de. Realmente me soltó durante unos minutos aquí y allí, pero no tan mal como los otros pocos sensores tenían, por tanto no demasiado me preocupo. Trabajó grande para cuando no sentía bien durante los 2 días anteriores. Hago mucho mejor hoy, sin embargo. ¡Realmente puedo comer la comida sólida! También, los números vuelven abajo a un número algo normal tanto en el DEXCOM como en el Breeze2. Los números nunca lo hicieron a 400 mg/dl, por tanto esto es grande.
