So, yesterday was a very odd and stressful day. When I first woke up and turned my cellphone on, I found out that it completely froze up and I couldn't figure out (for a few hours) how to fix the issue. I hadn't seen any of my icons that were suppose to be on any of the windows for the screen (I have many windows that can be moved/swiped). I could get e-mail coming in, but not see anything except for my wallpaper which is basically my cat, Bunny. The same goes with trying to answer the phone when a call came in-- no way to answer! As my parents keep saying, I saved myself $600 since I didn't have to get a new phone. How is this possible? Well, first of all, I went on-line and looked at the website for DEXCOM. Did some research and checked out what phones I could get using the DEXCOM and one other item I have here at the house. Gave a call to DEXCOM and they told me that if I had to get a new phone, all the important information that is used for the DEXCOM app would still be saved and I could log in using the new phone (if I had gotten one). The Representative was very helpful on this since he told me that hopefully, by 2017, the DEXCOM can be used with or without an Android cellphone. The user of the DEXCOM may get to use any phone that is either IPhone or Android by then if it's approved. That would make things a lot easier, but it's still not for sure, yet.
De este modo, ayer era un día muy raro y estresante. Cuando primero me desperté y encendí mi teléfono celular, averigüé que completamente se heló y no podía entender (durante unas horas) cómo fijar la cuestión. No había visto ninguno de mis iconos que eran suponen para estar en cualquiera de las ventanas para la pantalla (tengo muchas ventanas que se pueden mover/golpear). Podría poner la llegada del correo electrónico adentro, pero no ver algo excepto mi empapelado que es básicamente mi gato, Conejito. ¡Lo mismo va con la tentativa de contestar al teléfono cuando una llamada entró - ninguna manera de contestar! Como mis padres siguen diciendo, me salvé 600$ ya que no tuve que conseguir un nuevo teléfono. ¿Cómo es posible esto? Bien, en primer lugar, fui en línea y miré el sitio web de DEXCOM. Hizo un poco de investigación y comprobó lo que telefonea podría conseguir la utilización del DEXCOM y un otro artículo que tengo aquí en la casa. Hizo una llamada a DEXCOM y me dijeron que si tuviera que conseguir un nuevo teléfono, toda la información importante que se usa para el DEXCOM app todavía se salvaría y podría entrar al sistema la utilización del nuevo teléfono (si hubiera conseguido un). El representante era muy servicial en esto ya que me dijo que con esperanza, hacia 2017, el DEXCOM se puede usar con o sin un teléfono celular del Androide. El usuario del DEXCOM se puede poner para usar cualquier teléfono que sea IPhone o Androide para entonces si se aprueba. Esto haría cosas mucho más fáciles, pero no es todavía seguro, aún.
After getting off the house phone with DEXCOM, I had checked the Apple website and found trouble shooting pages. Turns out, if you have any phone of Apples's, you can push the camera button and the wake/sleep button at the same time and hold it for a few minutes depending on which type of IPhone you have. A 5C phone needs to be rebooted this way. Lucky me, it worked! It just took about almost 3 hours to do this! Not much fun, but I did learn something new. Now, my parents can keep following what the DEXCOM says I'm running at.
Después de quitarme el teléfono de casa con DEXCOM, había comprobado el sitio web de Apple y había encontrado el problema que pega un tiro a páginas. Resulta, si tiene algún teléfono de las Manzanas, puede empujar el botón de la cámara y el botón de la estela/sueño al mismo tiempo y sostenerlo durante unos minutos según cual tipo del IPhone tiene. Un 5C el teléfono se tiene que reanudar este camino. ¡Afortunado mí, trabajó! ¡Sólo tomó sobre casi 3 horas para hacer esto! No mucha diversión, pero realmente aprendí algo nuevo.
