Needs advice from others

I've taken the A1C diabetic test and the result of my test is 6.5, Two days later, I took a level of my blood sugar and it was 91 after eating a meal. It doesn't seem ok to me. Sometimes, I get dizziness-- especially noon time. Once I ate something sweet and am feeling ok.

Hi southern

The HbA1c test is done to give a longer term picture of your overall diabetes management. It measures the amount of glucose that has stuck to your haemoglobin during it's three month life span.

Your normal daily finger-prick test will give you an instant reading of your blood-glucose at that moment.

Are you Type 1 or Type 2?

Are you on insulin or tablets?

Was your reading of 91 done 2-3 hours after your meal?

What was the meal?

What do you have for breakfast and do you have a snack mid-morning? It could be that you need some slow release carbs in that time to help keep your levels stable until lunchtime.
