This is an article that I had found while reading "The Washington Post Sunday Magazine". It's talking about the DEXCOM and how it's the Wave of the Future in Blood Sugar Control. Most of the article is aimed towards the US as the audience, but I thought it would be a benefit of some information to share.
Esto es un artículo que había encontrado leyendo "El Washington Post el domingo Revista". Habla del DEXCOM y cómo es la Onda del Futuro en el Control de Azúcar en la sangre. La mayor parte del artículo se apunta hacia los EE.UU como el auditorio, pero creía que sería una ventaja de un poco de información para compartir.
Speaking of the DEXCOM, today while I was at my job for the Senior Center, the DEXCOM was going crazy and gave either no results or gave very odd ones. I had to do so many tests that I don't usually have to do while at work. It's good I had to go today to pick up more Breeze2 "strips" because I used most of them on the wheel at the center. One time, the DEXCOM said that I was 104 and there wasn't an arrow, but I tested to see if that was correct. Turns out, I was 312 at the time! With this being that way, I ended up doing a calibration when I usually don't at that particular time of day. I try to never do a calibration when I'm away from the house because I don't want to end up doing the next calibration during a time that's not good for my schedule (12 midnight/12 pm lunch).
El hablar del DEXCOM, hoy mientras estaba en mi trabajo para el Centro Mayor, el DEXCOM se volvía loco y dio ningunos resultados o dio muy raro. Tuve que hacer tantas pruebas que no tengo que hacer por lo general mientras en el trabajo. Está bien que tuve que ir hoy para recoger más Breeze2 "tiras" porque usé a la mayor parte de ellos en la rueda en el centro. Un tiempo, el DEXCOM dijo que tenía 104 años y no había una flecha, pero probé para ver si esto era correcto. ¡Resulta, era 312 entonces! Con este que es así, terminé por hacer una calibración cuando por lo general no hago por encima de ese tiempo particular del día. Trato de hacer nunca una calibración cuando estoy lejos de la casa porque no quiero terminar por hacer la siguiente calibración durante un tiempo esto no es bueno para mi horario (12 medianoche/12 p.m. almuerzan).
Speaking of work and the DEXCOM, my boss has given me permission to get in touch with a DEXCOM Rep. and to see if that person can come to the Senior Center to give a presentation on how the DEXCOM works. When the Rep. calls me to say if she can come or not, I will let you know. I'm hoping for sometime in September to have all of this done with the Seniors. Hopefully, it can be done in the morning hours of the day. I'd be the example of the user during the lecture/presentation.
Hablando del trabajo y el DEXCOM, mi jefe me ha dado el permiso de ponerse en contacto con un Representante DEXCOM y ver si esa persona puede venir al Centro Mayor para dar una presentación de cómo el DEXCOM trabaja. Cuando el Representante me llama para decir si puede venir o no, le avisaré. Espero algún día en septiembre para hacer hacer todo esto con los Mayores. Esperamos que se puede hacer en las horas de mañana del día. Sería el ejemplo del usuario durante la conferencia/presentación.
When I got home for the day, I went and got a new sensor to be inserted since today was the day to replace it. So far, the new sensor is working pretty good. I'm going to see how it goes for a few days, then check back in with you and let you know what happened. Hopefully, this one won't go haywire on me.
Cuando llegué a casa para el día, fui y conseguí que un nuevo sensor se insertara ya que hoy era el día para sustituirlo. Hasta ahora, el nuevo sensor trabaja bastante bien. Voy a ver cómo va durante unos días, luego revise de nuevo en con usted y avísele lo que pasó. Esperamos que éste no irá haywire en mí.
