Reversing Type 2 diabetes starts with ignoring the guidelines

A great and stimulating TED presentation:

A most interesting issue towards the end is the reference to the cost of medications that were saved. Whether or not patients personally pay for those medications , their insurance companies pay or the NHS pays does not matter. At the end of the day we all pay that cost through our taxes or premiums and these are becoming unsustainable.

  • Yes, low carb high fat may work for some people but you definitely need to speak to your diabetic nurse or GP because for some people going high fat can cause or exacerbate other problems. High fat affects my gallstones and my hiatus hernia and gives me the runs! GP and DSN have confirmed I should not go high fat.
