I have both: smartphone and ...type 2 diabetes.

I would be pleased to use it in benefit of my T2D but I don't know how.

Could somebody help me telling me how ?

What's the app for your phone?

It is Glimp but it is a phone scanner for the Libre - I am a type 1 diabetic too long to use anything else, plus I have other medical conditions.

i use OnTrack Diabetes by Medivo ( play.google.com/store/apps/... ) which is (alas) only available for Android.

In fact Medivo acquired GExperts the company which originally developed the app and can't seem to be bothered to further develop it - guess the original team got disbanded and they simply can't touch the code anymore. Personally i don't mind because it suits all my needs.

In fact it most likely can suits every diabetic's need because it is extremely customizable. For example one can add any medication prescribed, not only insulins or the like. It also allows to add food types, for example salt.

The app can export flat (csv) files which can be imported in most databases or spreadsheet applications to further analyse the data even though it also allows to generate a number of graphs from glucose to exercise over blood pressure for various time frames.

Finally it generates a web page of all the data which can be emailed or shared online.

All in all, if you are thinking about using an (Android) app to keep track of your diabetes give OnTrack a try.
