I use non of the above to reduce stress. It's not to say I don't do them. I play loud music to reduce stress. I take a walk daily anyway. I talk to people all the time. I exercise daily. But I use Mindfulness to reduce stress.

I play loud rock music and use mindfulness to relax too. I also use chi gong which is breathing exercises and focusing on my fingers.

As someone with Anxiety Disorders as well as Type 1 Diabetes, I try to do what I can to not aggravate either of those.

I listen to gentle music, sometimes Edward Elgar, which I was introduced to at school 36 years ago. I have an Alexa and play bird song, sounds of nature or weather. There are lots of free apps you can listen to as well.

I had a nature tape/CD that was sounds of the Rainforest years ago to help with stress. Now, since I love to read all the time, I get a book and read until I feel more relaxed and calmed down.

Thank you for the reply. :-)
