Hi, I am 10 years post stroke, been able to walk with an ankle brace as I have dropped foot. A week ago I had an aggressive cramp in my left leg at night in bed which has left me with extreme pain in my groin and left leg making me unstable and unable to walk safely. I would appreciate any advise or help you can give me. many thanks. Sue x

Have you tried magnesium? You can take it as a supplement and apply it topically as a gel for crampa. For your foot, have you tried visiting an athletic trainer? My trainer has been aggressive in developing a rehab program for me. Good luck! I know how frustrating it is.

Thank you so much for your advise, will have a look at magnesium. To be honest with you I am happy to try anything that takes the jabbing pain away. Thanks again and a healthy happy New Year to you!

I have a drop left foot and walk with a splint. Sometimes when at home and not going out i leave it off and try walking with out it to try and get it moving.
