I have if I go to see them but it's ring up same day and lucky if you can get in

I also hate being a trouble and they don't really seam to no how to treat me and don't really know what tablets I'm safe to take being such a unique case

It was my phycologist who rang the doctors for me to get me some antidepressants because I tried so hard to do it without them in the end I couldn't move forwards but through contacting headway I'm now seeing one of their councillors to try and help me get used of the new normal !!!!!!

Hi there. I'm sorry that you experienced all of this. We entrust ourselves to doctors, and then things like this happen. It's truly caused me to look at healthcare completely differently. You can have five of the natuon's leading neurosurgeons telling you that you should do something, but they could still be wrong.

I too had a post op (hemorrhagic)stroke and developed Post Stroke Central Pain (similar burning pain to CRPS but it is on whole affected side). I too take Lyrica and seems to be only thing that kind of helps. My surgery was to remove an artereovenous malformation (AVM), and it had been embolized with glue prior as well.

Just wanted to say hello as I've never met someone who is close in age and had similar experience.

My husband and i dreamed of having a family, but I was told it was too risky to try to have kids with the AVM (knot of veins I was born with in my brain), so I went through with surgery and had the post op stroke. I tried for several years to get pregnant, but had multiple miscarriages as I was already over 35. It remains my biggest regret, not being able to have a child of my own 😢 My stroke affected the right side of my brain, left side of my body and my vision fields reduced on both eyes. Even after all of that loss, I fought through rehab to walk again, read/write again, with the hope of a family being the motivating force. It makes it that much harder to live with all of my limitations from stroke knowing that I still couldn't have kids even after going through all of that to remove the AVM from my brain.

I wish you the best in everything. I hope the pain your wrist/hand can be managed effectively and wish you the best. I'm here to offer support in any way i can.
