My diabetes varies between 122 and 230 ..

I am taking Actrapid Insulin 10-10-10 before bf, before lunch and before dinner and 26 units of Lantus at 11.30 pm. My age is 58 and weight 85 kilos. I also take tablet diamicron XR 60 before break-fast and before dinner and Galvus Met 50/850 after lunch and dinner. Because of insulin, my waistline has increased to 45 inches. Best solution to reduce my diabetes and live healthily.

You should consult diabetologist whenever situations are out of control.he wil change ur dosages and diet to maintain ur body requirement.you r taking that much medicines doesn't mean that ur sugar wil remain in range.proper timing,proper diet,etc are also the factors affecting ur results.so consult proper doctor who can set ur dosage with proper diet.

I am not having any knowledge about insulin but on the face of it ,two things are clear 1) you are on heavy side.You must reduce 10 to 15 kilos 2)In spite of your heavy intake of drugs including insulin,you sugar levels are high.There must be some reason which has not been addressed. Please consult an experienced and qualified doctor.
