'Disciplined diet, disciplined exercise ...'. These are subjective. The very fact the sugar levels are not controlled means something more in terms of rejig of diet and/or medication has to be looked at. And there are other factors too .... anxiety, stress etc.

But one thing almost certain is sugar levels will not always mirror our wish. That is hard fact. But we have to keep trying honestly ......

Thanks. Your remark that sugar level doesn't mirror our wish is apt. rajan

One of my friends had this kind of 'unstable' sugar levels. His consultant diabetician put him on Human Diploid Insulin. Since this needs close monitoring please discuss with your Diabetician. Just sharing what I came to know about this condition.

I think not to ignore eating those things, which increase sugar, but try to increase insulin so that sugar can be diverted into good energy. If we will control diet, no sugar will be made and we will be weak. If make of insulin is less sugar is diverted into bad energy which causes liver and kidney damage with artery breakage causing failure of system. Exercise control them.

I agree with this. In modern treatment doctors ask to have full meal with balanced combinations, but that does not mean to have sweatmeats rgularly. Accordingly you need to adjust your medication. If you do not take sufficient food you may loose immunty which in turn may not help you to prevent any infection. I am 64 and diabetic for last 40 years. I take regularly egg, banana, apple and all seasonal fruits and even I take one small mangoe during summer time at night. My HbA1Cis 6.9-7.0. So my advice is to have full meals, regular walking followed by some exercise and proper medication/insulin dose.

My personal experience with my own Type II diabetic condition is that more than insulin supplement, tackling of insulin resistance is important. This can be done by conventional English medication (met-forming) or through Ayurvedic and or homoeopathy remedies. Don't stop conventional medication till you are able to achieve success by alternate medication procedure.

Diabetes causes due to performance deterioration of PANCREAS. Drugs stimulates it and other measures controls the rate of deterioration. Even though Pancreas deteriorates along with life. So, doses of drugs increases, changes from drugs to Insulin, again increase of Insulin doses etc. Its a part of life, accept it live without worries, get consulted doctor at regular interval who will make the appropriate changes as per sugar level. This is what my own experience since last 17 years.

For specific /unique cases replies /cures or clues to cures should not be given on-line .It is always advisable to ask people to consult the doctor or hospitala on whom the person has confidence.Human body is one way a simple mechanism .But the human being is an 'unpredictable animal 'only.

Technically means you are eating more calories than what you burn. Follow this very basic food eating tips:

1. Eat only when ur hungry [dont go eat lunch just bz its 1 pm...dont eat time basis]

2. Chew 25 times [count literally each bite]

3. Dont drink water before or during or after food for 1 hr minimum.

4. Stop when you get 1st Burp while eating. When you chew 25 time, you will get burp - its a signal that ur full.

5. Then do walking daily 30 mins a day.
