Hello friends, Basically I am a man with high degree of enthusiasm, but this scourge of diabetes is making me feeble and unable to put my enthusiasm into action. My father was having this problem and perhaps, it got me as hereditary. Out of six brothers, it affected my fourth brother and me rest are fine. I learn to live with it for the last two decades without any fallout. Sometimes I feel very weak and cannot follow my favorite pastime body building and stopped it. Today by seeing me nobody could imagine that I was Yoga expert once. Now I am 52 and getting on with it the routine. Thank you.

Yes friend, I am doing exercises almost daily but, for many days sometimes, bone aches prevent me to continue and thus became inconsistent. Will follow other suggestions and blog also. Thank you.

Dear friends, I understand the main reasons for this diabetes are irregular food habit and avoidable mental tension and if we control the urge to eat and also try to avoid mental tension by meditation and like such things, though they appear metaphysical to some extent, they are the sure sources of cure. Thank you.

Veekaymaar - I am Yoga and Naturopath Consultant. I had started yoga in the year 1979 and I was ok till I was working. The day I took VCR I got this disease. Tension and seating idle are two main causes. We should try to control our eating habits and serve others as far as we can do. Rest God will take care of us.

From my childhood I was very active. When I entered employment I had to walk miles together unmindful. ie from 1965.after about 30 years I was an officer sitting in office. From that time I was declared a diabetic From 1997 till last year I was able to manage my blood sugar level with medicines. But last year I was affected by nuropathic defect in my left foot and I had to undergo surgery.I was 1.visiting doctors regularly,2.Taking medicines as prescribed,(may be I had to change doctors often due to change in residences.)2.Walking for an hour daily at dawn.3.Not taking any sweets.4.but had no restriction in foods.5.my food habit -A.Square meals with rice at morning B.light tiffn in the form of dosa etc at noon around 2.30 and meals at night.)My contention is my food habit only had spoiled my blood sugar control. Knowledgeable persons please comment. renganathan.
