ADJUSTMENT OF INSULIN DOSAGE DURING CHILL AND WINTER CLIMATE.

During rainy and winter chill climate session normally I have compulsorily to reduce my regular dose of insulin by 2 units.Once When I traveled to DELHI IN A/C COACH without knowing this above fact i had taken the usual dosage of insulin. The hole night i suffered lot. For hypo i was going on consuming sweets even though the hypo repeats frequently. I can't control chillness maintained in a/c coach.I used more blankets no use. So my kind advice to the community take more care while travel in a/c.Reduce your regular dose you may also consult your doctor regarding this matter.

I think your discomfort may be due to dehydration in the A/C coach. I rather believe that during winter we are tempted to have more food intake because availability of various fruits and vegetables. So there is little possibility of low sugar.
