Can you please contact your doctor about the medication and its side effects before you change your diet/medication? No one wants anyone getting sick or worse.

Dear RDDR

If you tell us something more about you , may be we can suggest you for your well being...

This forum is great... No one is charging you anything... It is all free ...

We are not asking you your real name, address, bank account number , mobile number etc....please never never give these details to anyone ....😀

(1) your age

(2) current weight / BMI

(3) since when are you diagnosed type 2

(4) whether your parents had diabetes

(5) what kind of job you are doing ....is it stressful /demanding job?

(6) Are you travelling a lot ?

(7) what kind of food you are taking?

Are you taking any fast food?

(8) Do you do any physical exercise ???

Please note that diabetes is as old as Mankind.... the truth is that there is no known ayurvedic or homeopathic or allopathic drug to reverse your diabetes....

However, it can be controlled through a change in your life style, eating habbits, physical exercise ...and if required some allopathy drug can help control your blood sugar..

May be some herbal ayurvedic drug can lower to a little extent... But it does not do consistently....

If there were a cure , there would not have been 77 million diabetes in India Today and some 422 million diabetes world over.....and these numbers keep increasing.

Anyway, since you were interested to know about efficacy of Ayush82 and nobody in this forum seems to be using or knowing about it, I have researched for you in Amazon India ...giving you the link... Please read the review/ feedback by 24 users.... ... and take your call... If you want to try it.....

Dear RDDR

You are young ... and it is possible for you to control your blood sugar through a change in Life style... Please read my responses to previous posts which will give you some insights. If I put it in brief :

(1)Diabetes is not a disease , it is a life style disorder...though Genetics also plays it's role..... Genetics is not under your control..

But if we correct our Life style, if you give top priority to take care of your health , you can control your blood sugar well with least medications and live your full life quite well or else this disorder has more complications than any other disease which affects all our organs gradually- kidney, heart, eye, nerves, liver, leg .....

(1) First of all please have a Glucometer at home to check and see at initial stages how your blood sugar responds to different diet...

(2) Timing your food , physical exercise post meal , remaining active, have your dinner by 7 PM and go to bed by 10 PM, wake up by 6 AM, doing Some yoga , deep breathing exercise / Pranayam , Meditation should be an integral part of your life style, eating home made food always should be an integral part of your life style.

(3) Minimise Carbohydrate intake .. Avoid grains , refined carbs such as maida, sugar, white rice , refined wheat flour.....avoid starchy vegetables such as potatoes, Aravi....

Your aim should be to eat a varities of low GI food and avoid high GI food all together. Your goal should be to take the calories which meets your BMR- Basal metabolic rate which could be around 1300 to 1400 calories plus some allowances towards your physical exercise / walking...

(4) please remember 1gm fat gives you 9 calories and 1 gm protein / carbs gives you 4 calories.

(5) The food which you should be eating which would not spike your blood glucose level are given below....take these in combination in your 3 meals to ensure that you don't eat too many calories at the same time you don't eat too less. There are apps in Calori count which you can download in your smart phone for reference and for monitoring your daily calori count...

20-25 nos Almonds lightly roasted

50 gm Peanuts lightly roasted or boiled

Chia seeds 2 TSF soaked overnight can be used to top up in tomato soup or Curd

50 gm raw Coconut

1 cup full fat Home made Curd

200 gm vegetable salad - cucumber, carrot , tomato

Sprouted Moong mix with sprouted Methi- if you want you can lightly saute !

100-150 gm Low GI fruit such as strawberry, Cherry, kiwi, Papaya, plum, Green guava, cherry tomoto..

50 gm paneer, 30 gm Soya chunks

Home made Tomato soup /mix veg soup...

2 servings of mix veg Curry cooked in ghee or olive oil...exclude Potatoes ,Aravi

You can have one serving of vegetable Bitter guard - Karela daily...

Half a cup baked bean or Rajma or half a cup whole oats ..

If you can get 1 serving of leafy green daily... It is ideal... Spinach, drumstick leaf, Muli ka sag, Mustard leaves , chaulai ka sag ....

Always start with your salad /leafy greens/ Soup with chia seed / coconut/ almond which tend to slow down sugar release....

Physical exercise / walk 20-30 mnts post meal will be helpful to lower your blood sugar... Medication may not be required...but if you are not able to get desired result, continue with your life style changes , consult a Endochrinologist and at best you can take Metformin 500 mg once or twice if required.. it is a well known and researched drug ... in use since last 60 years by millions of diabetes ... No known long term side effects....

I would not waste my time with Ayurvedic or homeopathic medicines.....

Unfortunately they don't give consistent results....since the herbs are grown under different soil, climate , geographical location and they lose their properties over a period of time due to soil erosion...loss of fertility of soil ....
