Please note also that Dennis Pollock, the presenter, has been following LCHF dietary approach for the last 17 years and keeping his BS in non-diabetic range.

He has been spreading the message in a selfless manner. He always encourages people to monitor the blood sugar response to food and not trust what is commonly advised to diabetics e.g. fruits are good, low GI food does not raise BS or brown bread is good for diabetes.

Another good experiment to demonstrate blood glucose levels!

Fasting is indeed controversial particularly for diabetics on medications/insulin. Such people do need to be very careful and take suitable steps to avoid the possibility of HYPO. The presenter is not on any diabetic medications.

Fasting conducted safely has been shown to improve and reverse T2D. It also helps in losing weight and provides several other health benefits. Intermittent fasting can be implemented in several ways. Recently, healthwisehappy reported lowering his HbA1c significantly on OMAD (One Meal A Day). It is a good option along with low carb dietary approach.

Praveen55 ,

Not all diets will work in the same way for everyone, so to be on the safe side of things, everyone should consult their doctor before changing their diets and/or exercise routine. No one wants anyone getting sick or worse. :-)

This is particularly true when one is on insulin.

Thank you for saying that (about the use of insulin).

Your vides is very simple to understand how the blood sugar level may change during the fasting. Well done. 👍👍👍
