First time I was diagnosed high blood sugar accidentally while testing for knee issue. This was exactly 4 months ago. I don't have visible symptoms of diabeties. At that time my results were fasting 197, Pp 274 hba1c 11.46. I tried to control it by diet and exercise. now my fasting is 117, pp 173, hba1c is 4.68.
How hba1c got normal while fasting and pp are high?
1. HbA1c test result reflects average blood glucose of the past 90 days. Fasting and PP are the blood glucose levels at the time the blood sample was taken. One day high is not likely to affect HbA1c. If we assume all lab results are accurate, that will mean your blood glucose has been good in the past but recently it has gone high!
2. There may be a possibility of error in the lab tests if we assume that your fasting and PP levels have been consistently high.
What to do next?
In my opinion, you should do self-monitoring of blood glucose for a week or so. That way you can confirm how are your blood glucose levels on day-today basis before going for another test at a different lab.
FBS and PPBS are like snap shots that give the reading at that particular point of time.if you test again after say,an hour ,the result will be different because of your metabolic activity.HbA1c test gives you the the average blood sugar level during past three months.This test is approved as a better means of evaluating your diabetes management.As suggested by praveen55,go for home monitoring so as to fine-tune your day to day diabetes management.For more information on HbA1c test,please open the link below.

I am afraid you need a full medical check up and look at life style change!!!!
No visible symptoms means, I can sleep from 11 pm to 6 am, need to wake up for pee at night may be once in a week, no weakness feeling or any extra thrust or hunger. My BMI is 22, cholesterol is 148.
Plasma True Glucose Fasting -117 mg/dl, PP - 174, % Glucosylated HB of Blood - 4.64% (All are As per Indian Standards)
