OTHER DISEASES TO RAISE THE BS OTHER THAN DIABETES?

Is there any cause/disease that can make BS to go up other than diabetes, and what's the remedy? Please advice.

Do you have any infections or allergies with a possible cold? These can cause problems with the blood sugars to be out of control.

Diabetes is the most common cause of hyperglycemia. Other conditions that can cause hyperglycemia are pancreatitis, Cushing's syndrome, unusual hormone-secreting tumors, pancreatic cancer, certain medications, and severe illnesses. The main symptoms of hyperglycemia are increased thirst and a frequent need to urinate.

Ye,it is true that every kind of even a minor health disorder aggravates diabetes.Joint pains,common cold,breathing problems,sleep disorders and similar issues makes you less mobile,diet management becomes difficult and adjusting medicine dosages becomes tricky.My A1c shot up recently from 6+ to 8+ because of such issues.Even untreated conditions like depression and high stress have similar effect.Older people are particularly vulnerable.
