LCHF means Low Carbs High Fat diet.

Diabetes is issue of body to efficiently clear off carbs...

Therefore it is suggested that A diabetic should consume very less carbs...the suggested limit may vary as per capacity of individual to clear off carbs. However, lower is better...

And then in order to maintain calorie balance it is suggested that person should replace the carbs with Good fats.

LCHF is Low Carbohydrate and High-Fat Diet. It is recommended for people suffering from type 2 diabetes as they suffer from glucose intolerance. The idea is to go low on all processed and refined carbohydrates and sugar and introduce good fats such as omega 3 fatty acids found in nuts. Avocado, nuts, olive oil, a moderate quantity of butter, coconut oil and ghee need to be included in the diet. Transfats and vegetable oils need to be avoided. Increase the quantity of fresh vegetables in the diet.
