Liver will add glucose to blood to maintain Glucose level not going too low when you are not taking any food. This very natural process but as same as in case with CARB Intake , our body doesn't process GLUCOSE so .. SUGAR LEVELS remains high .

are you on medicines ? if so its very dangerous .. In My Own Experience, I am on Fasting trail from last two month , Instead of Sudden fasting kickoff ( like 5:2 , I am approaching slightly different way , I am gradually increasing Between Meal Gap by 5-10 mins every day and its really paid off for me , know I can fast 12 hours and I am seeing less fluctuation in BG compare to my previous experiment with sudden trail .. Its my personal way . YOu can try your own ..

Have you tried LCHF , most o f members here are strict followers of LCHF. Many reduced there insulin also. Millets are good but check portions, you van reduce it

Millets are also carbs. Slow carbs, but carbs. Your diet seems insufficient in protein and good fats, but high in carbs. That is probably why our BSL is not declining.

If your age is above 60, don't be panic on Sugar levels. Go for regular walk of 40 mins, Do Aerobatic exercise taught in schooldays or yoga for half an hour, Consume limited food, drink warm water, take medicine and adequate rest. If you feel hungry, take fruits. Be happy by diverting your mind from family issues, enjoy life.

"If your age is above 60, don't be panic on Sugar levels." Sorry bro. It matters.

"If you feel hungry, take fruits. " sorry again. Fruits are considered natural candys. It is better to eat fresh coconuts and dry fruits when hungry. Paneer too. Or coconut and almond milks. Bulletproof coffee of course.

@Anup

"1gm carb = 4 point blood sugar rise

1 unit rapid acting insulin = 15 point drop from what I have seen interacting with adults on insulin. so if you are taking 10 units, you are covering for 45 points drop = 11 gms carbs."

Are you not making some mistake in the calculation ?

Or you are counting in terms of 30/70 ?
