I am 44 year old male ,85 kgs and on no Medication.

I did tests and results are as follows

HbA1c --- 6.6

FBS ------ 124

PPBS--- 75

Look forward for your kind advise to reduce FBS.

Every month FBS readings hover around 115-120. and post lunch readings are around 140-150.

It is in acceptable range.

Fbs 124 is not acceptable. It should be below 100. Preferably in 80-85 range. Also ppbs should never cross 140. So take pp reading at one hour and should be less than 140. Preferably 120.

Hi suramo,

101 to 126 mg/dl come under Prediabetes .

More than 126 mg/dl come under diabetes.

For more information please look the below url

diabetes.co.uk/diabetes_car...

My HbA1c always come under this range

HbA1c --- 5.8

FBS ------ 110 to 125

@Anup would love to respond on the link 😝😝😝😜😜.

"Fasting test results

The results of a fasting test with respect to glucose levels in the body are as follows:

Normal: 3.9 to 5.5 mmols/l (70 to 100 mg/dl)

Prediabetes or Impaired Glucose Tolerance: 5.6 to 7.0 mmol/l (101 to 126 mg/dl)

Diagnosis of diabetes: more than 7.0 mmol/l (126 mg/dl)

The American Diabetes Association reduced the level of diagnosis in this test from 140 to 126 mg/dl in 1997."

The quote is from 1997 post.

1) we go with recent developments and our scientific understanding.

2) we here believe that ada aha ama criteria are influenced by drug companies. It's come to the notice of scientists that certain facts were deliberately overlooked / ignored by the associations.

3) many of us have reversed D with the modern concept ignoring what "they " say.

I stand by what i have posted. Sir, your doctors are misinformed. Not their fault. We have to come out of shadow of these associations. Any reading above 140 is to be considered " not good " in the context of the present knowledge.

Hi zaheerbasha4

Are you type 1 or type 2 ? If you are type 2 then you can easily reverse it. So many people has already reversed it. Just learn more about diabetices.
