This tablet is being currently promoted in India by the Indian doctors heavily. Unfortunately, the recent study in the US shows that this has many side effects and not highly recommended in the US. There are currently many medicines in our country like teneligliptin and vidagliptin etc. which can be combined with metformin & glimepride tablets for lowering high blood sugar levels with varying dosages. I took one such category tablet I.e Forxiga 10mg (very costly indeed) with side effects like severe itching problems all around my body for which I had to stop that medicine. You need to go through the report published in the US on such particular categories of drugs (flozins) before using it.
