Calling IF+L€HF practioners. Can you please share some tips for getting past the peak distracting hunger. Am doing 16:8. it bothers me when I reach 12th or 13th. Allow myself coffee with cream/unsalted butter. And yes it works. Am at 5.2 (was 10.2 Oct-15. Free of Jan+Met and St@tin since June-16. VCO makes me sick yet manage 10ml)

I m struggling with 16:8 too. I keep losing the plot and caving in to anything small but satisfying like a biscuit (horror) or an egg (not bad) . Or fruit. But by then the principle has gone out the window . My weight loss has ground to a halt. The only answer is rigid self control. (Sigh). JanR

Not at all! You can win it once for all. JUST TAKE THE HELP OF WATER FOR A FEW DAYS TO FOOL/MSLEAD THE STOMACH/BODY.

I find that the problem arises some weeks after the first , fine, glorious success when weight has plummeted, bg, bp, bmi, are all down, energy and spirits are up......then comes the Plateau. Nothing moves. For weeks and months! That, for me, is when the will goes. Yes, I have a new way of living which will last. Huge improvement. But as Anup hints, falling off the wagon is not an option. But (forgive my mixed metaphors) it's a good mountain to climb when you re already half way up! 😉

If one could pull on till 12, extending to 18 is6 not a big problem. Just take the help of water. I have done 23.5:0.5 during the 1990's for a few years. It brought my wt to 52 from 72 :-) :-) along with increasing energy level!!!

The greatest advantage of being "eekabhuktham" is that one can eat anything & everything to satiety, daily.
