COW'S MILK ,OR DIARY MILK ?

The doctor's right. You could try dairy in other forms in moderate amounts - curd (full fat), cottage cheese / paneer or better still cheese. You might need to keep it under 100 gms per day though (depnding on the other carbs / carbohydrates that you consume). The carb content will be significantly lower in comparison. Moderation in alternative dairy products (mentioned above) is key.

100 ml of milk has 5 gm of sugar in the form of lactose and galactose, which are glucose units and contributes in slight increase in blood sugars, however milk is best source of calcium and good quality proteins and said to be complete food, as suggested it could be consumed inn the other forms, specially fruit yogurts, butter milk, cheese, paneer etc where some of the sugars are converted into lactic acid and still supplements the nutrient gap, also consuming in the early hours of a hectic day helps in burning fast but not increasing the glycemic load.

Hi, it is highly essential to supplement continuously the gut flora, i c micro flora in the intestines and maintain its health, these days there are number of therapeutic bacterial available as INNER HEALTH with different strains of bacteria to restore colon micro profile, suggest you try add culture in the form of butter milk, yogurt, salt lassi etc. The only exception to ingestion of dairy products is for those who are intolerant to LACTOSE where there system does not have enough of an enzyme to break down lactose into simple sugars for absorption and causes loose bowels.
