Does it mean that taking insulin is bad? I am new at this forum. I am 34 years old and recently found during accidentals tests that my sugar levels were 240 fasting & 325 PP. Doctor told me to start with insulin for 1 month. What shall I do? Mike/Anup can you please help?

I have started jogging/walking 3 kms daily & stopped all forms of Sugar. Shall I start with the medicine or insulin as I haven't started anything? I didn't had any symptom as well and didn't know I had such high levels.
