I recently ordered cold pressed VCO from Max Care for Rs, 350(500 ml)  at BigBasket. Can I get it cheaper at any other online portal(without compromising with quality)?

It's important to realise that terms like' virgin' coconut oil should not be confused with olive oil terminology - terms often used to add a nebulous 'extra' and add a premium price. There are basically two types of oil. Natural, that tastes like coconut (and flavours everything it touches) and deodorised. The health benefits are pretty much the same. For me I prefer deodorised. I'd suggest getting the cheapest you can find.

Its handy to use ...more over we can use this for cooking too, as coconut oil highly resistant to oxidation at high heats...though fresh coconuts are better for nurtition

Use simple coconut oil for cooking....I love that....we here get fresh coconut oil pressed in traditional way....I like to fry fish in same...

But for VCO I love to eat fresh coconut instead of VCO...

Kaise pata punya mila ya nahi ...account balance kya hai punya ka ...? Mujhe to parlok se jyada abhi isi lok ki chinta hai ye wale lok mein kuch bhi earn karna jada tough hai rather than parlok ...

are local hai.... karch they extract fresh coconut oil with traditional method.....

local wala yahan nahi milta ...rest are chemically processed and bleached ...so better to use VCO

Cheapest VCO is from RUBCO  which is around 400/- per liter in Kerala.

Just visited Flipkart. Organic Veda VCO is costing 375/liter.

and it has got good rating.

Sorry I have never used it. Brand I have used are Merit, KLF, Maxcare and Keranidhi.

weather is hotter than 23 c , so I could not test it ...Yes I have to buy again...aroma is very good ...always fresh smelling

was outside of India ...there the weather was colder and ...it was semi liquid state most of the times ...like a gel kind of consistency ...Merit VCO has narrow opening ...so tough to pour oil from it in colder season
