Guidance to control Diabetes type 1

Dear all my age is 45 and diagnosed with diabetes type 1..i m taking insulin Humulin R but unable to reduce the fasting below 100 ..please guide any one about my treatment

Since you are a type 1 diabetic you have to take insulin 

Purchase a good home blood sugar monitoring meter and test 2-3 times everyday until u stablize 

Please keep taking the advise of your dr 

The only thing now to follow is the diet advised 

Drs keep advising high carb diet and in the long run you will deteriorate and need to increase the insulin dosage will be happening 

So follow a diet of low carbs and high fats 

High good fats are safe unlike what's thought by drs and many in this forum 

Good fats like butter, Ghee and cheese are safe and our forefathers used to consult to safely 

This will help you get the fasting and PP as per the desired numbers you wish to

  You are alreadyT1 person so you may  have more years in diabetic.  So you know so much thing by consulting Doctors  and your experience.

  Further  you have taken insulin so insulin is necessity for T1 persons because there is no production of insulin  in the body of T1 persons .

  However if you control  with  diet and  some light excercises, walking or any   physcial activity  youmay reduce the doses of insulin .

 further please share your latest blood report including lipid profiles  and kidney function test and other all diabetic packages. and also your diet the daily consumption of food.  It shows  wether your other organs damages of working properly. 

  It helps  due to diabetic any organs may  damages and working properly or not ?
