A cure means normalised OGTT as in the case of Shooter George, not a managing of metabolic syndrome, which can be done with the right drugs.
Since LCHF also improves insulin sensitivity in case it is managed correctly, with carbs and proteins reduced so that the body must burn fat, then getting rid of visceral fat seems to be the solution. Drastic methods like bariatric surgery is unnecessary and persons who do not appear fat, such as myself, must be having a lot of visceral fat.
What other reason could there be for all this? We cannot call it a mystery, as there is obviously a cause and effect reaction.
