Glypride may be changed after 5 years.

I am diabetic since 1998. Since year 2003 I take Glypride

2mg BD ,Roimet 500 BD then changed to 850 mg BD in 2012 and Pioz 15 OD, Cap Winofit OD My BS about 130 in morning and about 200 after meal. Some people suggest that Glypride may be changed after 5 years whether it is correct please suggest
