Typically,if you are reasonably fit,you have to plan for about 40 minutes of exercise. You should be able to increase your breathing and heart rate to a higher level comfortably. Most popular and convenient form of exercise is walking. All that you need is a pair of comfortable walking shoes with good heel and arch support.Wear comfortable and loose fitting clothes/You can do walking either in the morning or evening as per your convenience. If you are on diabetic medication, better have a light snack before you start.Warm up for a few minutes by walking slowly and then pick up comfortable speed and do not stop on the way for chatting with some one etc because then you will lose the aerobic benefit. At the end cool down by walking slowly for a few minutes.During the walking you should not feel any discomfort and after completion, should become absolutely normal within about five minutes.

Yogasanas can be performed only with a guidance. There may be such condition that you may not be able to do that and some alternate asanas can be told to you. Please do not do as per your guidance. Have some good instructor or expert in yoga who will not only teach you well in all parts of yoga. If you can give me your location then I can be helpful in this matter.

All these terminologies and names, like Carbohydrate, fat, Protien, Vitamin is all BS. Our forefathers did not know about these terminologies. They adopted simple principal. Never change your food habit and try new food. We received our body from our parents with inbuilt immune system called good bacterias.

Eat the normal traditional food and get fresh air with normal physical work. That's all you need.

If you try new food. Then this will be rejected by the good bacterias present in your body. So, there will be a war between two armies of bacterias. Your immune system will kick them (which is called toxins) out. But if you keep eating non tradition food, then new bacteria will have majority within your body and old bacteria (your immune system) will lose ground and will get destroyed.

So, go back to your normal tradition food. Your immune system will be returned back to its "Body's control" and you will slowly return back to your normal health.

Very Well said. I do agree with you Sevadaar. Its best to continue the food we were raised in. There is no other food like the Indian (well balanced) thali.

Three basic and very easy asans are

1. Pawanmuktasan

2. Mandookasan and

3. Suryanamaskar

There are some pranayams also which help activating pancreas.

Mental tension and an inactive-irregular life-style play very vital role in diabetics.

Pl search online to get the process. But still have any doubt, please reply to this posting.

Mr. Rao. Nice for your comment. The two asans are very easy and can be done with in-flexible body also. Its not the matter how much you bend but to see that the posture is right and the in-take of breath and holding & suppressing inside the stomach is important. It can be practiced very easily. More particularly, when you are practicing Surya-namaskar, you won't have any problem in doing Pawan muktasana and Mandukasana. Still any query, pl contact me by replying again to this posting. Even again, I repeat that your attitude plays a vital role as stress affect the hormonal glands badly and pancreas is an important organ creating Insulin
