Have artificial sweeteners any ill effect on skin

I have been taking artificial sweetener like Equal and Sucralose for quite some time. For last one year I developed Dry and Scaly rashes on my skin. Is it any ill egfffect of the sweeteners?

I am a male of 78years and Diabetic for 25 + years

If it consumed in very limited and used it when it is required not evry & each eatable you are having. If blood sugar is high in some type of dibetics having this problem cunslt you Doctor he will provide you some ointment to get the relief.
