Can somebody please suggest me a low carbohydrate diet plan for the day.
What is required is awareness of what we eat,how much we eat and at what time.Most of us can control our diabetes if we can reduce our intake of food by around 200 or 300 calories.Replace rice and wheat with sprouts,vegetables and greens.If you look closely at each meal that you eat,you will be able to make the necessary adjustments.Reduced rice and wheat and little more exercise will balance the calories consumed and spent on a daily basis.
apart from avoiding sweet foods, try avoiding fast food like noodles, burger etc and also chapati...yes you heard correct chapati or rotis because the glucogen in the rotis or chapatis increases the blood sugar. the drained out rice is better than rotis.
