what is the difference between fructose and Glucose from Diabetic patient point of view?

Diabetic patients should consume foods which have low glycemic index.

Fructose has the lowest glycemic index (GI = 19) of all the natural sugars.

Glucose comes under high glycemic index. Hence the same should be avoided or consume in moderation.
