Your physical activities are less than required,so absorption of medicine is not successful as per medial bulletin published recently.

For blood sugar to come down, taking medicines alone is not sufficient. Your life style & food habits have to be modified appropriately.

Diabetes is a fundamental disorder. It is comparable with low voltage in an electric circuit. In both cases all connected subsystems will under-perform and will fail in due course. Diab impairs the glucose (SUGAR) & oxygen supply to ALL CELLS of the patient. You cannot compensate the resultant weakness with liquor, food or medicines.

A DIABETESE PATIENT (also known as A DIABETIC) need NOT starve. PROPER or APPROPRIATE food can be eaten EVEN FULL STOMACH THRICE DAILY! Try to understand diabetes & conquor it.

I was diabetic from 2006; but NOT diabetic from 2009. I studied Diabetes thoroughly, because it was to solve MY problem.

Do you want to see my experience and blood sugar history from 2006 to 2013? Those are reported at: appropedia.org/Diabetes_mel... If you want only MODUS OPERANDI, GO TO appropedia.org/Diabetes_mel...

Please report your future experience (good or bad) here for the benefit of others.

It means your medications and dosages are improper. Get another doctor specialised in diabetes and consult him.

Diabetes management is a multi- pronged effort. In addition to medication, you should have sufficient exercise, active and stress free life style, and tight control over food. Please review all these factors before expecting the medicines to work.

Dear sir, My intention is not to hurt any body's feelings. But experiences and sharing ideas are the aim of these forums. You may direct them to contact some useful sites that is not a matter for concren. But directing them to some other web sites for getting suggetions must be made after ensuring that such sites are not commercial. You might have observed one gentleman selling snake oil and other one with miracle water and they give contact address. I am happy that you have decided to reply me through these blogs.ensure that you are not of that type.God bless you for your selfless motives. Thanking you. If I had hurt your feelings excuse me for this.I am 72 yers and still managing with diabetes for the past 16 years.

Respected sir,

I am directing people to my own article only to save my time & effort. I am only 63 but have undergone four angioplasties, three of which were with stenting. Last angioplasty with stenting was this Monday, that is four days ago. I am trying to take my RARE POSITIVE & PROMISING experience to as many people as possible before MY PASSING AWAY. That is why I answer as many important questions as possible.

I was diabetic for only three years - from 2006 to 2009.

One of the patients who follow the GEM DIET under my supervision is 73 now. She was diagnosed diabetes 13 years back; she came to me with HbA1C 10. For the last two years she is NOT TAKING ANY MEDICINES BECAUSE HER HbA1C, FBS & PPBS VALUES ARE WITHIN LIMITS.

I feel GEM Diet will help you too. GEM Diet & your present medication will go in parallel till you or your doctor find a need to reduce medication. Thus you will slowly reach NO MEDICINE state. Even then it will take some more time from then to get cured. Even if you don't get cured you can at least go without medication.

All required information for an experience person like you are there in my full article which I have listed in many of my answers.

My desire & humble request is that you please give it a try.

I am 71 or 72? I had myyo cardial infraction in 1996 and it is normally named as heart attack.I was rushed from office direct to nearby Government hospital where they saved me with infusion of Streptokinase. I was not detected with any diabetes then. I got it some one year later as 'trace'. and it all started with treatment with diabenese to gliclazide with metformin and addtitional gliptins. But I had no need to undergo angioplasty or stenting ,because I was prescribed with blood diluters, anticloggers, and vessel dilators.(Asprin, Clopidagrel,Rosuvastatin and nitroglycerin) I get my self exemined by a cardiologist who is also a consultant in diabetes once in 3 motnhs and undergo my diabetes and cardiology profile tests one in two years(intially they were done in onece in 6 months). What I want to say is that there are various types of treatments and also each case in cardiology and diabetes vary from patient to patient and no particular type of medication can be followed for all cases with similar conditions. It all depends on learned doctors who are proffessionally qualified to deal each case depending on their merits and no streamlined medication can be followed for all cases.
