Good and very busy with the kids and getting ready for the holiday. We will have a very full house have been cooking and baking for 2 days. Cooking Keto and Gluten free, vegan on many dishes. Still have some hard core hold outs like the young ones and very old. Which is very fine. LOL we will not be having green bean casserole it will be flash fried in bacon grease. Have a wonderful Passover.

Best thing is eat every thing in moderation and burn it with excericse.

When you are doing exercise you're able to eat everything including sugary food but when you take a gap of some days to exercise say a week and continue to eat the same it will rise the sugar and then it is difficult to get the numbers down as did happened in my case. So putting limit on the mouth is more appropriate and we should try to make it our habit. if someday you want to eat something sweet ,you can, but you need to cut down appropriate amount of the meal.

Diabetic but maintaining non-diabetic blood glucose numbers (HbA1c of 5.4%) following ketogenic diet and no medications. I eat what I always wanted to eat but was afraid to eat in the past. Cheese, butter, cream, coconut, fish, chicken and loads of green vegetables. Some days are cheat days and sometime fasting also. Overall, a very healthy approach to managing type 2 diabetes.

And yes, one hour long walk everyday.

Only Key is LCHF..IF u eat 130 gm net carb ur sugar count is 130 accordingly if u eat 160gm net carb yr sugar will be 160. Plz eat 150 gm net carb everyday.

Two years back i was 468 random sugar but since last 1 year I'm without medication & 5.8 HbA1c...Thanks to 130 net carb...

I do eat natural fats mostly, which as you mentioned does control blood glucose levels. The dish was made for my Keto husband and others that are so familiar with the old traditional cassarole of green beans, soup and fried oions from a can. This was a skinny version. They enjoyed the smarter less calorie, low carb. told me more room for dessert.
