In addition to my 5 km run every day, I drink 5 cups of tea/coffee every day, each cup having 3 spoons of raw sugar. My body produces Insulin which converts my sugar intake into Glucose required by my body. I eat less food, only one chapati each day, but eat plenty of raw green vegetables. I have excess blood sugar level (195 - 210 mg/dL) for last 9 yrs. I start every morning with a Banana followed by 250ml of milk with 3 spoons of raw sugar. I am 70+ age.

Nice Man Ji,

Yes, whatever I have written is true. I follow following 4 main principles: -

1. Always eat the traditional food which your grand parents/parents used to eat as our body has the immune system which we inherited from parents/Grand parents. Every medicine gives temporary relief. Permanent relief will come from your immune system

2. After the age of 45 yrs, reduce you food intake as body growth has stopped and we need one third of the food quantity to maintain the body parts. Eat green vegetables as chlorophyll is same as red blood cells. Green veges will produce new blood and thus all the ailments will be eradicated.

3. Always use body parts, each and every part of body, hands, legs, shoulders neck, foot, fingers. Any part not used will get rusted, The physical exercise is a must.

4. And as far as possible ignore doctors, don't be dependent on any regular medicine. These doctors are just like shop keepers looking for permanent customers.

Thanks for your response. I was taking 80 mg diamicron for the last one year.I have started to reduce phase wise.I reduced to 60mg and now on 30 mg for the last three months.I have started 500 metformin SR recently.I saw by taking one roti about 30 grams with oil spiked my sugar level to 150 in 1.30 hr.Morning fasting sugar is always between 80 to 90 by accucheck. From the last one year I read that the safest drug is metformin.Gradually I will be in a position to eliminate all drugs. Thanks once again.

Though my Hba1c is 6.5 I care for myself by walking 40 min ,,doing few asanas ,pranayam and try to follow diabetic. diet. Taking insulin as highly allergic to metformin.

I take balanced diet consisting of 55% carbs all inclusive , hidden and direct ,30 % proteins ,15% fats all inclusive from all sources .I do pranayama and yoga ,I don't take any allopathic medicines .I take herbs like Alovera , Gingkobiloba ,Avenasathiva , Ginseng, ASWAGANDHA ,Harithaki , AZARIDICTA Indica ,calendula , THULASI Mangi fera indica , Amalakiin , turns . That means I don't take them continuously . I take them in turns . ALL the herbs in mother tinctures available in homeopathic pharmacy . I take Dates daily 4 numbers , seasonal fruits , 3 TO 4 CUPS OF COFFEE with sugar per day , 2 chacolates . My sugar hovers round 98 to 100 fasting , 130 to 150 PPBS .AFTER sugar tests every day for 2 months , I stopped . Now I go for CHECK UPS once in a year .All other parameters are normal . I feel that it could be because of pranayama , yoga and homeopathy along with herbs. I don't even get coughs , colds ,fevers , or any other ailments even if I sit , for hours together , with those suffering with the infections . This is unbelievable to many but it is true. But any way , since my advice is falling on deaf years & my concern has become a sum total of foolish , unscientific opinons , I have decided to stop posting messages in the forum . since some learned and sensible friends are posting many good articles ,which are of a great service to the members , I have decided to continue my membership.
