Simple to remember, it is called M.E.A.L
Eat

A>>>>>> Added fat e.g. olive oil, virgin coconut oil, butter, heavy cream, animal fat.
L >>>> Low carb green and leafy vegetables grown above ground.
Apart from above, you can eat full fat dairy e.g. cheese, yogurt. Low carb nuts and seeds, e.g. walnuts.
Big NO to Wheat, Rice, Potatoes etc.
Strict KETO aims for total carb consumption of 25 gm or less mostly from green vegetables. Protein should be moderate based on your body weight and activity level. Rest of the calories should come from healthy fat.
