Having trouble sleeping at night

Hello I'm having trouble going to sleep at night ,I'm a diabetic I take medince I'm so tired all the time I am cold every day i have the heat on blast.I have tried over the counter sleep aid did not work plus i take other meds dont want to mixed it up to much.Do anyone have a suggestion. Thank you

Take ocimum , Azaridicta Indica , Aegle folia , all three in mother tincture , 3 drops each in a cup of water in the morning before taking breakfast . You get them on line from Schwab homeopathic phramacy Reduce the food intake to half . While reducing food intake you should not compromise in the nutrients .Food should be full of nutrients , minerals , vitamines and aminoacids . In the night before going to bed take Ashwagandha in mother tincture 10 drops in a cup of water . These medicines in capsule form loose half their efficacy . In homeopathic preparation you get them for half the price with doubled efficaCY . Follow this formula for 3 months you would be surprised to find with the result . in the fourth month , take Terminalia Chebula in mother tincture 3 drops in a cup of water once in a day only . With out testing the efficacy one can't brand homeopathy as unscientific quackery .While taking these homeopathically prepared ayurvedic herbal medicine , test the sugar levels regularly and accordingly reduce the other medicines taken by you . Modern medicines attend to the symptoms and subside the symptoms but they do not have deep impact on the economy .If possible consult a homeopathic doctor who gives constitutional medicine . If you can't get one , even thenyou need not go in to despair. What allopathy cure gives this treatment also gives in a much better way with least complications . These are very safe and there is no need to get panicky what so ever .

THE ART AND TECHNIQUE OF PSYCHIC DEVELOPMENT

LESSON ONE: Deep Relaxation

In this lesson you will take your first steps towards psychic and spiritual

exploration, and development. The techniques detailed here are of vital importance to your success. Please do not underestimate them. Conduct each exercise conscientiously and in full, even if you have done similar things in the past.

The first thing you must understand is that it is not possible to conduct any consistent psychic work if you are physically or mentally tense or if you are under any kind of stress. The initial practices in this course are therefore designed to ensure that you are in the correct physical and mental condition to achieve results.

It is true to say that unless you are in such a condition it is unlikely that you will be able to make psychic contacts, conduct or receive absent healing, or indeed experience any other psychic phenomena on anything other than a remote chance basis.

One of the main reasons why the majority of people have very little success with spiritual, psychic or occult practices (the word occult simply means "that which is not generally known") is because they fail to prepare properly. They act very much like a person attempting to pass a driving test without ever having learned the fundamentals of how to handle a car correctly; and with exactly the same inevitable result: failure.

When you begin to work with psychic principles you will quickly learn that preparation, correct preparation, is vital to success. * * *

Preparing for involvement with psychic phenomena can take many forms. These include ritual, music, chanting, the wearing of robes and other special clothing, the use of candles, incense, tarot cards, colour, special lighting, etc.

We will consider all of these and experiment with some in due course, but I do not recommend that you get involved with any of them at the present time. All of these objects are a means to an end in psychic development and not an end in themselves. They are methods of moving the practitioners consciousness away from the mundane world and focusing it on deity and the hidden worlds. However, they cannot help you to do that unless you are properly prepared and in the correct physical and mental condition.

Later in the course there will be an extensive explanation of the use of ritual and other practices. Some will be described in great detail and experiments given so you may try them out for yourself, but for now you should concentrate solely on the subject of deep relaxation, without the use of any additional factors.

There is a serious purpose in doing things this way. If you can achieve

even moderate results without any additional aids, then bringing them into use later will considerably expand and strengthen your psychic abilities. If, on the other hand, you use them too early in your development you may find that you either cannot work without all the trappings or that you are concentrating more on the items themselves rather than on the end result. Either is a mistake.

Two things always go together when beginning psychic work, i.e. Relaxation and Attunement. Let me first define exactly what is meant by these words when used in connection with our studies. The definitions are:

RELAXATION is the preparation of the BODY for the opening of

your consciousness to the influence of, or for the transmission of, psychic, healing, or other spiritual energies.

ATTUNEMENT is the preparation of the MIND for the opening of

your consciousness to the influence of Deity and of psychic energies.

Note that it is possible to have deep relaxation without attunement, but it is not possible to have attunement without deep relaxation.

For this reason, in this first lesson we are going to concentrate only on deep relaxation. Lesson Two will cover the principals of attunement.

So, what exactly is the type of deep relaxation necessary as a preparation for any genuine psychic or spiritual work?

There is a truly astonishing amount of misconception about relaxation among the public in general, and perhaps even more so amongst those who are interested in psychic and spiritual matters, simply because they are given so much false information by people whose only real interest is coming up with something that might capture the imagination of the seeker and thus make them some money.

It is probably easier to begin by describing what relaxation is not. It is not the twisting or contorting or holding of any limb or part of your body into any particular, and usually unnatural, position. It is not listening to a recording of any artificially created sound, or repeating mantras or chants. It is not the counting of numbers up, down or in any other sequence. It is not deep breathing for any particular time or in any particular rhythm.

All of the procedures described in the above paragraph will no doubt divert

your attention from whatever you were doing before you began the exercise and perhaps distract you from your current worries or stress for the duration of the practice; but they will do no more. They certainly will not allow your body or your mind to relax properly and completely.

Think very carefully about this: How can your body be fully relaxed if part of it has to be forced into a particular position and held there? How can your mind be fully relaxed when it not only has to make sure a physical position is maintained but also has to concentrate on counting numbers, or listening to chants or artificially created sounds, or speaking mantras? The very idea is ridiculous so, please, forget all such nonsense. The best you will ever get from such practices is a temporary respite from your current worry or stress. You most certainly will not be relaxing in the full and true sense of the word.

Deep Relaxation is simply what it says. A deep and absolute relaxation of the

body with “no strings attached”, no rules and no regulations. Nothing except giving your whole being the freedom to immerse itself into a state of perfect unity with nature and with the cosmic scheme of things.

Now down to practicalities.

In advance of the exercise please carefully read the whole of this lesson and make sure you fully understand it. If you have any questions simply contact me and ask.

When you are ready to begin the exercise, start by making yourself as comfortable as you possibly can. The matter of dress is up to you, so long as you are completely at ease and are wearing no clothing which is tight or constricting. Some people prefer to do this exercise undressed, on the basis that it makes them feel very much closer to nature. That is up to you. The most important thing is that you feel entirely at ease.

Then select your most comfortable chair and relax into it, or lay on your back on your bed. Keep your arms and legs uncrossed. The room should be warm and quiet, and preferably either dark or dimly lit. Use a favourite fragrance in the air if you wish. Close the door and draw the curtains. Obviously, choose a time when you are most unlikely to be disturbed.

Begin the exercise by allowing yourself a minute or two to settle down. Aim for absolute comfort. There should be no distractions, not even a ticking clock if you can avoid it, and no extremes of temperature.

USE THIS CHECK LIST FIRST TO MAKE SURE ALL THE

CONDITIONS ARE RIGHT:

1. IS THE ROOM AT A COMFORTABLE TEMPERATURE ?

2. IS THE ROOM QUIET ?

3. IS THERE LITTLE LIKELIHOOD OF BEING DISTURBED ?

4. IS THE ROOM DARK, OR THE LIGHT SUBDUED ?

5. AM I TOTALLY COMFORTABLE AND AT EASE ?

If the answer to any of those questions is no, put the problem right before you proceed any further.

DEEP RELAXATION METHOD:

1. LAY OR SIT WITH YOUR FEET A LITTLE APART. PLACE YOUR HANDS EITHER BY YOUR SIDE OR ON YOUR LAP, NOT TOUCHING.

2. CLOSE YOUR EYES AND ADJUST YOUR POSITION UNTIL YOU FEEL TOTALLY AT EASE AND COMFORTABLE.

3. CONCENTRATE ON THE LEFT FOOT. RELAX IT SLOWLY AND COMPLETELY, A LITTLE AT A TIME. DO NOT HURRY. TAKE AS MUCH TIME AS SEEMS NECESSARY.

4. TAKING EACH IN TURN, RELAX AS MANY OF THE ELEMENTS OF THE FOOT AS YOU CAN THINK OF, I.E.:

RELAX EACH TOE,

RELAX THE HEEL,

RELAX THE SKIN,

RELAX THE ARCH OF THE FOOT,

RELAX THE BONES,

RELAX THE FLESH,

RELAX THE ANKLE,

RELAX THE BLOOD THAT IS FLOWING THROUGH THE FOOT,

RELAX EVERY NERVE, EVERY CELL, EVERY ATOM.

IMAGINE YOUR FOOT FLOATING AWAY AND BECOMING INVISIBLE AS IT RELAXES. NOTICE A REDUCTION IN SENSATION FROM IT. VISUALISE IT BECOMING PERFECT AS EACH ELEMENT MOVES INTO FULL ACCORD WITH NATURE AND WITH THE UNIVERSAL LAWS OF HEALTH AND HEALING.

5. WHEN YOU ARE SATISFIED THAT THE FOOT IS FULLY

RELAXED, ALLOW THE SENSATION OF RELAXATION TO DRIFT SLOWLY UPWARDS THROUGH THE ANKLE AND INTO THE LOWER LEG.

6. APPLY THE SAME TECHNIQUES TO RELAX ALL ELEMENTS

OF THE LOWER LEG. COMPLETELY RELAX ALL THE MUSCLES, THE TENDONS, THE NERVES, THE SKIN, THE BONES. AGAIN RELAX EVERY CELL, EVERY ATOM.

7. CONTINUE WITH THE SAME TECHNIQUE, MOVING SLOWLY UPWARDS TO THE LEFT THIGH.

8. IF YOU ARE DOING THE EXERCISE CORRECTLY YOUR LEFT LEG SHOULD NOW FEEL VAGUE AND INSUBSTANTIAL; IF INDEED YOU CAN FEEL IT AT ALL.

9. START AGAIN WITH THE RIGHT FOOT AND REPEAT THE

EXERCISE UNTIL THE WHOLE OF THE RIGHT LEG IS RELAXED.

10. DO THE SAME EXERCISE ON EACH ARM, BEGINNING WITH

THE FINGERS.

11. USING THE SAME TECHNIQUES, MOVE ON AND RELAX EVERY OTHER PART OF THE BODY, FINISHING WITH THE HEAD.

12. DO NOT FORGET TO RELAX THE EARS, THE EYES, THE

MOUTH, THE NECK AND THE FOREHEAD. VERY OFTEN WHEN YOU REACH THESE YOU WILL BE SURPRISED TO FIND THEY ARE STILL TENSE.

13. WHEN YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE EXERCISE, REMAIN IN

YOUR TOTALLY RELAXED CONDITION FOR A FEW MINUTES.

14. ENJOY YOUR STRESS-FREE SITUATION AND PREVENT ANY

MUNDANE THOUGHTS FROM ENTERING YOUR MIND BY THINKING ONLY OF YOUR STATE OF RELAXATION AND OF THE IMPROVEMENTS TO YOUR HEALTH THIS CAN BRING.

When you feel you are ready to conclude the exercise, get up slowly and go about your normal business. DO NOT at this stage attempt any form of psychic contact or attunement.

And please……..do not ask for the next lesson until you have successfully completed this exercise a few times. Only then will you be ready for it.

To repeat what was stated at the beginning, you cannot reliably contact

psychic or healing energies if you are in any way tense or under stress from mundane matters.

Properly conducted, deep relaxation may seem quite a long process in the

beginning, but when you have been doing it for a while you will find that you are able to move into a deeply relaxed condition quickly and easily. Do not underestimate the importance of the exercise, even if you have done similar ones in the past. This is likely to be more extensive and the result of the technique is a vital pre-requisite for psychic development.

If you have done similar things in the past you may be aware that some

practices instruct that one should begin relaxation with the head. Ignore these; they are completely wrong. Again, as always, think what you are doing. If you first correctly and fully relax your head, which obviously includes your mind and brain, how are you then supposed to focus on the rest of your body without waking them up again? It is impossible! The only correct and successful technique is to start with the feet so that you will in fact be able to relax your head and mind to the full and proper extent when you reach them.

If you should find yourself regularly falling asleep when you practice this

lesson or the second one you should try conducting them just two or three times a week during your waking hours, without falling asleep, and then in addition begin them each night in bed when you are ready for sleep.

You almost certainly will fall asleep before you have finished the night-

time practices but under those circumstances it can be a good thing rather than a bad one because it obviously proves you are relaxing deeply. It also should ensure you awake bright and fully refreshed each morning.

Sleep can quite easily occur during the first two lessons because they have no aim other than to succeed in the techniques themselves. From Lesson Three onwards all the lessons have specific psychic development purposes and these so focus your mind that you will be able to remain alert without difficulty whilst remaining fully relaxed and attuned.

Good luck with this exercise. Even on its own it is highly beneficial. So much so that most students return to it time and time again; whenever they feel stressed or a little ill, or have a touch of insomnia, as well as for the psychic development reasons.

Hello I'm sorry this is so late not on here all the time .But also a diabetic I have the same problem sleeping at night. Then just a month ago my friend told me about hiburn8 it all natural and does not affect my blood sugar at all it help me sleep at night and I have more engery now. I take one table spoon at night on a empty stomach plus it help you lose weight while you sleep.It you would like to try it let me know.
