Another company helping spread acceptance and inclusion, little by little we are winning the battles and one day I believe we will will THE WAR. May not be in my lifetime, but every day we benefit from what families have done before and in the future new families will benefit from what we have achieved in our time.
After my recent visit to Nigeria, I am again accutely aware that some countries have a much bigger journey yet to be made and the task can seem daunting and impossible, but the alternative is to give up and that is unthinkable. So to everyone in the world with DS, their families, carers and friends, I pledge that whilst it is within my capability to do so, I will continue to try and raise awareness in whatever way I can.
