Has anybody been to a spiritualist church? Or been able to contact dead people another way?

I really need to speak to somebody there. I don't believe it can be impossible, people cant just dissappear, and I need to get in touch with somebody, I really have to speak to them, even if just once or for a short time. I heard that some people go to Spiritualist churches to speak to dead people but ive never been before and dont know what to expect

Oh dear am having a good giggle at all this, reminds me of Chinese Whispers where the story changes each time. I love the 'bit special'.

Emms its where to start and to be honest I dont think this is the place to be explaining about it. Spiritualism is in no way an aid or help with depression and every ones experience is different.

If you have clinical depression no amount of talking to the living or those who have passed will help, meds are needed.

If you are depressed at the loss of someone yes it can be reasurring but you need to be care that you dont become attached and obsessed to visiting mediums.

You can look in the yellow pages under churches to find your local spiritualist church then either visit there or phone and ask for names of mediums who do readings. If you go for a reading ask for it to be recorded so you can listen back at home also do not feed them information. Sit open and allow them to speak and advise you.

Please don't think this is a magic way to speak to the certain someone you want to speak to Emms. Most of these people are just charlatans who make a living out of tricking vunerable people like us. I think they are despicable. Preying on the weak and helpless to stuff their pockets with blood money. Nobody can come back and speak my love...if they could they surely would and we wouldn't suffer so much when we lose them. If you really need to speak then just do it yourself.....you don't need to pay for the privilege of speaking to whoever you like. Sometimes the answers to the questions we have are given by just being still and quiet and listening to our own reasonable mind. Unfortunately most of us are on here because we cannot think reasonably. If you are desperate speak to the Samaritans or someone close. Thanks for the message ellabella. I was really hoping that I would be able to make contact somehow, but I see what you are saying. I have been emailing the samaritans, who are very good, but I didnt get a reply this time, I dont know if the email hasnt come through yet or whether they have decided to ignore me this time. I am quite worried that even the samaritans do not want to speak to me.

It sounds as though you are struggling to come to terms with the loss of someone and wanting to believe you can find a way to speak to them. Maybe you can through a spiritualist, who knows, but personally I would seek help in order to understand why you can't let them go.
